Welcome to our new website, which is an attempt to keep our readers abreast on the activities of the Civic League of Greater New Brunswick.  We are currently in our 66th year of operation within the Central Jersey area, with much of our focus on the City of New Brunswick.  As we end our 2010-11 school year programming, we are planning a very extensive summer experience for more than 120 New Brunswick students.  Over its 66 year history, the League has grown from a two staff person operation to more than 40 employees.  This growth is due, in part, to many of the members and friends who serve as the advocates for the students and residents that we serve.

This summer we will be celebrating our 20th year of the Whitney M. Young, Jr./Rosa L. Parks Summer Institutes with the culmination of its annual graduation in August.  In addition, we will be conducting the third year of the summer Learn to Earn program for middle school age students, in cooperation with the New Brunswick Hub Teen Center, and a second year of summer program services at the Paul Robeson Community Theme School for the Arts.Please take a few minutes to navigate through the website for more information on specific program activities.
